The Stone breaks kingdoms into pieces.

Jesus said;

Have you never read in the Scriptures: “The stone that the builders rejected has become the cornerstone; this was the Lord's doing, and it is marvellous in our eyes”? Therefore I tell you, the kingdom of God will be taken away from you and given to a people producing its fruits. The one who falls on this stone will be broken to pieces, and when it falls on anyone, it will crush them.
(Matthew 21:42-44)

This parable of the tenants (Matthew 21:33-44) might just as easily refer to Christianity’s professional priesthood, the clergy, as it did to the Jewish leaders of his time.

Christian leaders are as quick to condemn and persecute anyone who contradicts their own, peculiar form of orthodoxy, as the Jewish leaders were to opposed Christ; especially the Lord’s servants, the prophets.

And the tenants took his servants and beat one, killed another, and stoned another.
(Matthew 21:35)

The fifth kingdom is the Stone’s target.

And just as Jesus crushed the power of the Jewish rulers, he will ‘break in pieces’ the fifth kingdom, Christianity, and the entire edifice of human kingdoms will come crashing down.

As you looked, a stone was cut out by no human hand, and it struck the image on its feet of iron and clay, and broke them in pieces.

Then the iron, the clay, the bronze, the silver, and the gold, all together were broken in pieces, and became like the chaff of the summer threshing floors; and the wind carried them away, so that not a trace of them could be found.
(Daniel 2:34-35)

The Stone is here!

The Stone will grow into a huge mountain.

But the stone that struck the image became a great mountain and filled the whole earth.
(Daniel 2:35)

The true Church of Jesus Christ will, without human organisation, grow and fill the earth, one family of disciples at a time; no professional priests or pastors required!

This is God’s doing and it is marvellous.

And in the days of those kings the God of heaven will set up a kingdom that shall never be destroyed, nor shall the kingdom be left to another people.

It shall break in pieces all these kingdoms and bring them to an end, and it shall stand forever, just as you saw that a stone was cut from a mountain by no human hand, and that it broke in pieces the iron, the bronze, the clay, the silver, and the gold.

A great God has made known to the king what shall be after this. The dream is certain, and its interpretation sure.
(Daniel 2:44-45)

There has never been a better time to be a disciple of Jesus Christ!
